Dedicated in 1980, the Hibbard Library was designed in the style of a Victorian coach house. It is named in honor of Dick & Jane Hibbard, who were among the Center's founding members. The library includes rare books, documents, photos, maps, artifacts and newspapers related to Glenview. It also houses census records, obituaries, and other materials useful in genealogy research. Built in 1864 by Sarah Hutchings, the Hutchings, Schur and Homan families, The Farmhouse Museum was called the farmhouse home for 100 years. It is one of the oldest homes in Glenview and remains at the site upon which it was built. The Glenview History Center, founded in 1965, acquired the house in 1967. It displays artifacts related to local families, businesses and the history of Glenview.
