Second Chance Thrift Shoppe has great reviews! See for yourself the reason this thrift store is a frequent stop in the Mt. Greenwood area in Chicago. Bounded by Beverly, Oak Lawn, and Evergreen Park, originally in Lemont, the shop re-opened its new location in 2022. The Shop sells new and gently used clothing, housewares, linens, collectibles, jewelry, books, toys, videos and furniture. The Shop is almost fully volunteer run enabling utmost support for Garden Center Services to whom we donate 100% of profits to fund programs for adults with special needs. We proudly train and employ people with disabilities to support Garden Center Services' mission of advancing lives of connection, contribution and meaning. We fulfill this goal of raising funds by providing an amazing thrift experience for the community in a comfortable setting, served by friendly staff. Shop, donate or volunteer! Tues - Sat. 10-4.
