Connecting people to history by inspiring Passion, Preservation, and Exploration is the mission of the Historic Galloway House and Village. The Galloway House is a mid-Victorian mansion surrounded by 25+ historic structures, each with a story of its own. The village includes a historic Soo Line caboose, rustic log cabin, schoolhouse, town hall, archives library, and more. Individuals and groups are welcome. Groups such as senior organizations, schools, Scout troops, church groups, and college classes can schedule docent-led tours of the Village from May through October. During our summer season, tours of the Galloway House are docent-led; the Village is self-guided. You will never run out of things to explore here!
