Connecting people to history by inspiring passion, preservation, exploration and fun is the mission of the Historic Galloway House and Village. The Galloway House is a mid-Victorian mansion is surrounded by over 30 historic structures, each with a story of its own. The village includes a historic Soo line caboose, rustic log cabin, schoolhouse, and town hall, as well as a traditional museum and archives library. Individuals and groups of all kinds are welcome, including senior groups, school tours, Scout troops, church groups, and college classes. Tours of the village can be guided or self-guided, and group tours are available from May through October. You will never run out of things to explore here!
