THE SHIPSHEWANA TRADING PLACE AUCTION & FLEA MARKET was established in 1922 and is now home of the Midwest's largest flea market, boasting 700 open-air booths on 40 acres. Enjoy shopping 26 gigantic flea market aisles finding bargains on home decor, clothing, tools, crafts, books, beauty supplies, accessories and everything imaginable. The Flea Market is open every Tue. & Wed. from 8- 4 pm, from the first week in May through the last week in September. The Shipshewana Misc. & Antique Auction is held every Wed. year-round, at 9 am. Six to ten auctioneers sell antiques, collectibles, estate items, primitives, glassware, furniture, architectural salvage and so much more.
